My approach to the design process is both iterative and cyclical, encompassing eight key phases: Research & Discover, Meaning-Making, Synthesize & Define, Ideate & Plan, Catalyze & Prototype, Deliver & Implement, Evaluate & Refine and Repeat.
This methodology balances creative exploration with practical choice and decision-making, alternating between diverging, giving breathing space to the projects (expanding ideas) and converging exhaling (focusing) activities throughout each phase.
I view the process as comprising two main moments:
This cyclical nature allows for continuous refinement and improvement, acknowledging that design is not a linear path but a journey of discovery and iteration. I do not see the design process as a fixed system but as a dynamic one that can help us plan and strategize for the future.
By embracing this flexible approach, we can navigate ambiguity and develop design solutions are not only innovative but also thoroughly considered and adaptable to evolving needs.
Capabilities
As a strategic designer with a multifaceted career, I bring energy, curiosity and a unique blend of skills and perspectives to every project.
